K-YOU turns GTA V's Self Radio into a live station for the music player already running on your PC. Get in a car, pick K-YOU on the radio wheel, and your music plays, with the song's name on screen.

Taken in the plain game (Steam F12), no graphics mods.
Any player, as a station
Spotify, YouTube Music, a browser tab, Apple Music: anything Windows' media keys can control. No account, no login, no extra program.
Only on K-YOU, only in the car
Leave the car, change station, open the pause menu or Alt+Tab, and your music pauses. Come back, and it goes on from the same second.
Song names in any language
When the song changes, its name shows on screen, Hebrew and Arabic included, which the game's own font can't show.
Quiet for phone calls
The music drops during phone calls and while characters talk, then comes back up, like the game's own radio.
Keys that don't clash
Next and previous song are the game's own radio-track keys. Play/pause and K-YOU's own volume sit on keys GTA V doesn't use. All of them can be changed.
Its own spot on the wheel
K-YOU takes over Self Radio, with its own name and logo on the radio wheel.

Get the basics
Script Hook V, ScriptHookVDotNet (a nightly version) and Lenny's Mod Loader. Already have them? Skip this step.

Copy two folders
From the zip, copy the
scriptsandlmlfolders into your GTA V folder, the one withGTA5.exe. - 3
Start the game
K-YOU is on the radio wheel. Not there yet? That can happen on the very first start: Settings > Audio > Perform Quick Scan for Music. K-YOU tells you when it's needed.

Tune in
Open your music player, get in a car, hold Q and pick K-YOU. Your music plays.
Requirements
- GTA V for PC, Legacy edition (tested on 1.0.3889), Story Mode
- Script Hook V and ScriptHookVDotNet, a nightly version (tested on v3.7.0-nightly.193)
- Lenny's Mod Loader, for the name and logo on the wheel (tested on 0.4)
- Windows 11 (tested) and a music player: Spotify is best
Never take mods into GTA Online. No game file is changed: delete K-YOU's files and the game is as it was. The README in the zip has every step, key and setting.
